About the Role:The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of Neurocrine’s talent development strategy. This position will focus on providing planning, coordination and logistical support for multiple talent management and development programs and activities. This is a position on a team who’s focus is to enhance the effectiveness of our employees, leaders and teams.

Your Contributions (include, but not limited to):
Program Management
-
Provide program management support for various in-person, virtual and self-paced on-demand leadership, professional and career development programs, including:
-
Source, curate and deliver learning content on a variety of topics
-
Create and deliver communications and marketing materials
-
Identify, establish and maintain relationships with external training vendors
-
Reserve event space and oversee training room set-up and break-down
-
Order, assemble and ship training materials and supplies
-
Provide program management support for talent management initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and high potential development, including:
-
Coordinate and launch assessments such as Core Strengths SDI 2.0, EQ, 360s etc.

Facilitate workshops and exercises that enhance collaboration and team effectiveness
-
Facilitate career workshops and deliver tools and resources to support career coaching and individual development planning
Learning Content Management
-
Assist with administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including maintaining employee training records, troubleshooting, running reports and responding to employee inquiries

Design and procure training aids, quick reference guides, microlearning and e-learning content to support various initiatives
-
Maintain and update L&D SharePoint pages with appropriate content
-
Analyze post-training survey data and provide summaries to determine the effectiveness of learning and development activities and provide suggestions for improvement
Other HR Responsibilities

May coordinate and lead employee events and activities, including act as HR liaison for one or more Employee Resource Networks (ERNs)

Assist as back-up to other HR colleagues, as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
BS/BA degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
-
Or Master’s degree and some related experience
-
Excellent organizational, project management, analytical and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to effectively interact with multiple levels and disciplines
-
Current knowledge of best practices in learning; experience with blended learning approaches, virtual delivery and instruction/technology platforms

Strong project management skills
-
Detail oriented and well organized
-
Ability to source and develop content for career development and team building initiatives
-
Facilitation and training skills for effectively delivering content to a diverse professional audience
-
Working knowledge of Learning Management System(s) and e-learning delivery systems
-
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with Workday and/or SharePoint a plus
